Default ABS problems

Hi all,

Looking for a little diagnostic help on my ABS for my 98 A6 quattro. I was getting that (in)famous 3-tone flashing brake/solid ABS light warning after a few miles which seems in many forum discussions to be related to the power faults in the Bosch ABS controller. Pulled the controller off the pump and sent it off to be diagnosed/repaired; the electrical engineer working on it said it tested fine. Brought the car to the stealer to have the wheel sensor/senders checked out and get the VAG codes - the senders looked fine and the VAG codes returned were 01201 035 - ABS pump voltage supply and
00301 035 - ABS return flow pump V39 sporadic

The 10A ABS fuse in slot 7 is good; don't see any other ABS fuses in my wiring diagram but I do see references in some VW/Skoda forums to a 40A or 50A fuse which supplies the ABS.

I did have a pretty bad water ingress problem from the sunroof which fried my floor-mounted comfort/convenience module, which I've replaced along with the corroded connectors which were down there. I notice from the wiring diagrams that the ABS control module runs through some connectors in the driver's A pillar, but those look ok.

Any suggestions to help me narrow this down will be welcome - thanks.
