All the points made are valid about the K&N Filters... Too expensive..., cause MAF problems and a whole host of other things that were not mentioned yet!

I just want to get this freakin air filter box open and closed again, without having to take the entire engine apart. I stopped by here, because I met this girl and she someone here maybe able to help...right

I have just recently crossed over to an Audi. I was driving a Volvo V70 XC SE AWD, with some really silly mods. I have gone thru 2 turbos, 2 or 3 cat converters and I do believe that it was because of the K&N Filters...

 

what size do the 99 audi a6 2.8quattro air filter use?
i considered getting the K&N filter too.. but is there serioulsly nothing good about it?
apparently i heard they give your car a little extra boost..
what do you guys think?

 

DO NOT PUT A K&N IN YOUR ROAD GOING CAR!!!!!! Only for competition usage where rebuilds are part of the game. Yes they flow more and let more dirt thru into the engine.
