Alarm keeps going off
Ok. If its an aftermarket unit, sometimes they can be easily tripped if it has a shock sensor that is set to sensitive. You might also check the battery in the car. I have a Camry with an aftermarket alarm system that for a while would sound for some unknown reason. I found out later after having a dead battery and replacing it, that the alarm never did that again. So it may possibly be a battery with low voltage causing the problem.
if its stock (beep sounds like a sick horn) even a light breeze with any window open (incl. the sun roof tipped) can set it off. On the drivers side "B" post at the bottom above the trunk pop is an overide. Push it and then close the door and arm it. the lights at the top of the door will blink faster to let you know it worked. That will disarm the "reach in" sensor.
I have a similar problem. I have owned the car for some time, but today the stock alarm has been going off for no reason at all (or at least that I can tell).
I have tried the button on the side of the drivers door to turn off the interior sensor(no luck), but after about 30 seconds, it goes off. I pulled the fuse out to stop the alarm but instead of the horn and the lights going off, the turn signal lights just started flashing.
It starts up
Anyone seen this before?
