Default Another NAV question...

Hi all! Just traded my 03 Infiniti G35S for an 06 AUDI A6Q. Options were constrained since it was a leftover sale. I really wanted a nav on this and was told by the dealer in Atlanta that it was easy to add since the MMI module was installed and was prewired.

I actually live in DC Metro area and the dealers here are scratching their heads and am getting different answers as to what needs to be done and how much.

Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks in advance!

start reading www.navplus.us. there is a separate forum for the C6 A6 crowd.

As I understand it, the nav option can be added very easily...for under $1000.

Shouldnt be two hard to do. Theres a whole kit with instructions and everything available to techs. Sounds like a case of lazy techs that dont want to put down the easy stuff for a little challenge.

And as much as i hate to admit it the saleman is right. The car is pre "wired" for nav. It actually uses a fiber obtic cable to perform the function. But all the connections are in the same place reguardless of wheter the car has factory nav or it is added later.
