Arrow Anyone hear of Mevotech Control arms?

Theyre about half the price of the febi-bilsteins for the whole front end kit and I cant really see how there could be a dramatic different between them, theyre just metal bars with bushing pressed in. If noone has anything bad to say Im gonna pick them up but I just thought I would ask around first.

I don't know about the Mevotech stuff, but I installed the febi-bilstein kit yesterday and they're great. It was a big job, so I figured I'd spend the extra money and hopefully not have to do it again any time soon. My wife's A6 had 230K on the original parts, so it was definitely time to replace them. What a difference!

I'm curious to hear how you like them, becasue I was on the fence with that decision. The whole job took me about eleven hours, but I had a little trouble pressing the old wheel bearings out, so that slowed me down a little. I also had to cut the heads off both pinch bolts and pull them out by the threads, but that worked surprisingly well, especially considering all of the Michigan winters they'd been through.
Good luck!

i got the fcp roton kit for $250.00. it was a pain in the ***. i did have mevotech rear sway bar end links and they were great. no problems. i'm guessing fcp groton and mevotech are about the same quality.

Junk. You'll be replacing arms in a couple of months. Didn't you search this forum before you bought? This has been gone over many times before.
