AoA-revised maintenance sunroof drain and plenum
Just received two letters from AoA informing me that they are responding to a class action suit by recommending that the front sunroof drain and plenum areas should be inspected and cleaned every 40k miles or two years. Specifically, remove cover for plenum panel to check water drains and clean if necessary. Applies to 1997-2009 Audi models (I have an A4 in addition to the A6 below). This is strongly recommended if you park outdoors a lot. There is a claim form attached if you incurred repairs due to problems. I have not scanned a copy but can if someone needs it.
