I am looking for some help with replacing a low beam headlight on the drivers's side ofmy 2002 Audi A6 Quattro. Is their anyone out there who can tell me how to do this?

 

On the back of the headlight, there is a black plastic cover held on by two metal clips. Pop the clips free, and pull the cover off. Twist the harness out of the socket, and pull the bulb out of the harness. Replace in reverse...make sure you don't touch the new bulb or it will create a hot spot and cause failure. Also you will want to replace the driver and passenger side bulbs at the same time, especially if you have xenons since they will be different colors.

 

How do I get access to the black plastic cover as there is a large plastic shield on the top of the engine bay on the drivers side that covers the expansion tank as well as access to the headlight?[/align][/align]Thanks,[/align][/align]Jim Woods[/align]

 

Grab that cover and pull it out...it's only held on by some small clips.
