Yeah, I think youre right. Since it has been awhile, I dont remember for certain. After seeing posts about this being lifetime, I think it was the brake fluid I am thinking aoubt. i dont have my manual with me now since its in the car at the shop. Is the brake fluid done somewhere between 40-50k?

BTW, I have terrible luck with cars now. The last car I owned before this was a 99 acura TL and its tranny went out at about 35k miles. The car before that was a used 88 acura legend and its transmission went out also. Now this audi has a bad transmission. The Audi has also had a terrible problem with losing engine coolant.
Its funny, but the most reliable cars I ever owned were Dodges. I owned 2 dodge shadows that I never had one issue with, period. Owned them until about 65k miles too.

Never fill brake fluid in your transmission!

Brake fluid is supposed to be changed "every two years, regardless of mileage".
Sucks about your tranny. I've heard it's an expensive fix! I hope they solve it with an easy/cheap solution!@!!

OK, that makes sense since it was after 4 years of ownership.
