Audi Vs Saab
If you have never owned a turbo car even with a small turbo... Def go with the viggen/a6
... the only cars that would've made me happy OTHER THAN A a6 2.7T would have to be the a6 4.8, m3, s4 and the viggen
all quick very nice cars

Betcha the Saab forum told you A6s were unreliable POS that need lots of expensive maintenance. I wonder why people insist on posting these on a forum like this and then expect an unbiased answer. You should probably post your question on the BMW owners site and let them tear into both marques.
My second to last saab was the Griffin and I LOVED IT. But it bleed me dry with its rear a/c evaporator (whole a/c basically), primitive traction control, constant leaking air bags (suspension) until converted to non air.
here is a video I can across while going down memory lane. That car was beautiful : http://www.trollhattansaab.net/archi...000_griff.html
After 45k miles the doors were sagging, headliner had fallen, alternator died...blah blah blah. At 79k the tranny died, the turbo went, the alternator went again, ps pump, a/c compressor and I think that was it. But the car came with an 80k mile warranty so that was all covered. By the time 100k miles was reached there were 10,000.00 dollar in repair costs since new. That summed up my Saab ownership experience.

I just recently bought a 2000 a6 2.7t and I love it. However, I would only suggest you get either of those cars if you are willing to take verygood careof whichever you get. The audi is way sexier than a saab imo. Also, which engine does the a6 you are looking at have??
