I have two key fobs, one which works just fine. The second one which is for my wife to use no longer works, I changed the battery (tried two different ones just ion case) but it didn't work. The Audi dealer wants to charge me close to $700 for a new key fob and programming it. No way I am paying that.
I thought I once saw a video o procedure to DIY.
Any advice would be most welcome!
Thanks!

Not same car but I bet key fob not a million mlies different inside. Just been quoted today in UK by Audi dealer. £240, around $330 for a new key and programming of key fob for an A4. Still waiting on an independent to price it up.
$700 sounds rather a lot.

Don't buy key fobs from ebay because they are not programmed. Only the dealer can do it.
