Default Bad batch of Flashers?

Recently my flasher unit started acting up, it was clicking randomly. I replaced the flasher and the new one immediately starting making a buzzing noise (sounded like a geiger counter from the movies). I took the flasher back and got another one. This one also buzzes but only every now and then. I am buying the flashers from a local part store that is getting them from somewhere in the midwest. The flashers are Audi flashers not third party. So am I just getting parts from a bad batch or is there something going on electrically in my car ?

Most likley a problem with your turn signal switch itself (the one on the steering column)

oh god... u gotta love that damn buzzing.. My car does the same thing, 3 hazard switches later, same thing. I ended up putting the old one back in because I can tolerate the blinking sound more than the buzzing. I have yet to find a fix for this solution, but I will try to have the blinker stalk replaced in the future. Good luck, I would assume our problems are the same...
