So my pa's 2007 3.2q a6 has lots of black smoke coming out of the exhaust, I know it is carbon but there is so much he is worried. We drove around for a few miles, hard, and there is still lots of black smoke. What should we do?

 

Take it to a dealership/local shop?

Is there a CEL on or anything else besides black smome?

 

No there is not. When we were in driveway, in neutral, it wouldn't allow us to rev. over 4000 rpm's, but everything seemed fine when in drive. Is that just a safety thing by Audi?
