Default Bleeding brakes with ESP

How can you tell if you have ESP 5.3 or 5.7? The procedure with the 5.3 which uses a hydraulic pump to work the ESP requires the use of the computer to cycle and bleed the pump and the 5.7 does not.

Doing some research on this, it appears that the ESP 5.3 has another pump motor mounted directly underneath the ABS pump. I am assuming that the ESP 5.7 does not have this extra motor. Is this correct? Before I replace the brake fluid, I need to know if I need the computer to do it. I hope I hae the 5.7 so I can bleed in the usual way.

VAG-com scan should return the module version?

Or ask dealers by the VIN.
