ello I have an 97 a6 2.8 wagon changed water pump and tb 3 weeks ago. seemed to be fine had heat no leaks. car started puking out resivoir and leaking out metal piece that connects 3 hose at front bottom of engine ,and it shut off while my wife was driving she swears it did not over heat. changed t stat and fixed leak but still no heat and the puking out went thru 2 and a half gallons of water tryng to get air out to no avail.im fearful of bad head gasket but no oil in coolant thanks jesse

 

so now took it for 15 min drive filled up water 1.5 gallons there and back heater core hoses dont seem very warm is there a valve that controls flow? also this is probably real bad sign steam from between valve cover and headers
