Bose Concert Problem (2000 Audi A6 2.8)
Hello everyone, i just recently got myself a 2000 Audi A6 2.8 Quattro a couple of weeks ago and i have noticed that only the front speakers are working. I have gone over all fuses, wires etc with a multi meter and everything seems to be receiving power & what not. I have also gone through all the manuals i received with the car including the Concert booklet yet nothing to trouble shoot. Now the stereo isn't faded to the front so thats already checked but when i fade to the back...no sound...so rear pasenger, rear parcel try & subwoofer arn't working. Any suggestions people? Thanx :-)

ya it could be as easy as disconceting the battery and reseting the system.
But I have a feeling that it has something to do with a fuse or something like that or a connector that came un done[]

Hey guys, thanx for your reply. I have gone over all the fuses, plugs and they seem to be ok as i have tested them to see if any power is running through. Hmm this one is a brain buster. Any more idea's guys?

well if you can pull it out you can put it back but not sure if there is a fuse on the amp as its not realy what im into,
have you checked the resistance on the speaker wires I blew all my rear speakers once ( you could plug an old speaker in its place to see if its getting power

Kicking it always works for me....[:@]
You should check the speaker leads and see if you are getting power to them, if not see if your amp is reciving power, if the speakers don't have power to them, but the amp does, then most likly the amp is shot if not you might have a problem in the wiring from the deck to the amp.
If all else fails replace the whole system or add a aftermarketamp and new speakers. There are write ups on here how to do that
