A6 3.0 Wagon

Bose Problem the head unit doesnt light up anymore ..

Ithink there might be a short but i dont know it used to come on an off once and awhile

Now it doesnt even come on i thought it may be from the cold and weather but now idk

The car is damp an floors a bit wet at times to due to a NE winter

If it is a short wherewould i bring ittoshould i bring it the stealerships close to where i amthey areawful that i have been to so thats not an option
but they may be the only people who are capable of taking the car apart an not breaking stuff ????

 

joshf -- Let's get something straight before continuing NE = New England. Upstate NY is not New England. If you want to be in NE you need to cross the lake!!! (I know you really meant north east but that is ne not NE)

#1 Look for a blown fuse.

If the fuse is OK you have a wiring or ignition switch problem that will need a techical guy to look at.

If you don't trust the local rip off dealersomeone in the forum migh give youa sugestion as to where to take the car.

 

yea def check fuses even if the book tells u where it is chck them all ...

 

yeah i changed the fuse im considering doing them all ...

maby ill ask in the ne and the NE forum for a suggestion on a place to take it ...
