Ok I've owned all diffrent types ov V.W.'s 8 in total and have done all of the repair work and maintained them my self I'm going to do the brakes on my a6 quattro my self is there any thing I need to look out for or special tools I need or tricks i need to know about. Because I WILL NOT LET THE DEALER WORK ON IT EVER AGAIN.[:@] They charge waaaaaaay tooooo much money.

The pad replacement link is all that I used when I did the complete brake kit on my car (4 new rotors and all new pads). It's very well illustrated and explained comprehensively. The only thing missing is referencing the tools needed for rotor removal, but that's mostly common sense!
