Default brake pad question

I ordered new rotors and brakes for my 2004 audi a6 2.7t and they want to know whether it is a 2 brake pad system or 4 brake pad system, The woman at the dealership said that they took 2 brake pads, I'm not sure if she knew what she is talking about. Without me taking the wheel off to find out, can somebody here tell me the answer.

Hi. Your front brakes will have two (2) pads per axle. Most of the four (4) pad sytems were installed on older models and on 2.8 and 3.0 cars. All of the 2003 to 2004 A6 2.7T's have the two (2) pad system.

yes the larger front caliper is designed for increased stoping power and taking into consideration braking while turning ... i wouldnt say that is any more high performance then the 1 pad application ... if so whyd they stop using that design haha

i think its all the same

yea one pad per side of the rotor =2

u have 4 pads

i find the cross slotted n drilled rotors and the 4 pad application that i used to have was alot better for stopping or stoppingwhile turning on a track and it kept everything cooler compared to the 2 pad application i have now
