I am working on a 99 A6 Quattro 2.8 V6. I have a problem. I am changing the breather hose assy on the top of the valve covers. The s breather hose that connects to the valve cover breather hose on the right (driver side) is broken. I was wondering if anyone knows where this hose connects to? I have the replacement hose. I cannot find where it plugs into. Any info would be great.

 

Attach a picture so we get a better idea which hose you're talking about. FYI, left & right sides are commonly based on the driver's viewpoint looking forward. So driver's side is left.
