can i upgrade to 55w hid on low beam?
Anyone install the 55w kit on the low beams... I'm not to impressed by the light output on the 35 w aftermarket kit, so I was wondering if its safe to do the 55 watt kit instead?
i know I cant reach stock level output, but cant hurt can it? will i melt my wiring, cause potential fire?
Thanks

Well i got them today but instead of installing them i have bigger problems............i was t-boned today (drivers side) so i won't have a road review for 3 weeks. Just for fun i put them in in my garage and they look amazing.
i used to have the halogens in my a6 with a 35 watt kit and it was sad. but now i have a new set of headlights and i retrofitted TSX projectors in them and now its so nice, but back to the origional topic, the 55 watt kit should be ok for the halogen projectors since they should get enough ventalation through there.. it will be a little better improvment over the 35 watt kit, but its not going to be the best becuse there not xenon projectors, halogen projectors focus the light on just the road, not to the sides, the xenon focus to the whole side and road. but good luck sorry about the T-bone incident, got pics of it ?
