Default HID Beam to low

Hello everyone, I recently purchased a 2001 Audi A4 2.8 with HID, While driving at night the low beam light doesnt shine very far away from the car, maybe about 8 feet away from the car, baught some replacement bulbs from DDM and it still doesnt shine that far away, everything in the car is stock including the headlights, and from what I can see I dont have the auto adjusting headlights, is there anyway I can manually adjust them or is this just the way they are, I baught a pair of 6000K HID lights from DDM if that helps
thanks

Could be the ballasts starting to go? You should be able to adjust the headlights manually though, there should be white adjustment screws on the upper back part of the housing that will be parallel with the ground. You can see one in towards the bottom of this pic:

^ Note that the one shown in the picture is for adjusting the high beam. There should be another one next to it for the low beam.

There are two plastic screws that you turn to adjust them, I think they are white.
