Car pulling to the right
i have a 98 a6 2.8. i bought it just recently and i have been noticing its pulling to the right. and its just getting worse. some people are telling me it could have somthing to do with my tire preassure but i haven't had a chance to check it. could it be that or is it just a standard allignment problem?
You had time to post the message, but no time to check the tires? LOL
First, thing -- check tire pressure, then inspect tires visually. Look at tread for uneven wear, alternating patches of dark and light (due to poor shocks), damage to tread (foreign object, severely worn or even shredding along inside edges). If all seems ok, it may be as simple as a tire rotation. Find a good alignment place (specialist, not local Firestone/Goodyear/PepBoys). Proper alignment and wheel balance can be worth a slightly higher price overall.

If your tire is low enough to actually pull the car to the right, you are either blind or just don't notice the mushy steering. Just kiddin man...It would totally be obvios if it was tire pressure. Take Kaminars advice..its what I would do.
no the tires look fine. and the pressures match but my friend who works at audi insists thats what it is. they say people alwyas complain about their cars pulling right never left? i thought it sounded funny too. it probably needs alligned some old lady had it before me....
