Car will not turn left or right
I was pulling out of the parking lot heard a sound thought I ran over something went to straighten out the wheel and it would not move. Thought the car may have shut off but it was still running. My battery indicator came on and my battery level was low but the car was still running. I just recently had my suspension completely replaced ignition switch replaced and bought a new battery. There was no fluid on the ground no smoke no grinding sound and it seemed harder to try and turn the wheel than even if the car had no power steering at all.
Any one with any sugguestions?
Thanks

Did you look under the hood?
Maybe your drive belt just got busted. It drives the alternator (hence running only on the battery would start discharging it - low bat indicator on) and also the power steering pump - hence no steering power.
Oh, forgot to say it - probably the noise was the busted belt hitting the plastic engine cover
