To change or not to change: Brake fluid?

The maintenance manual says replace brake fluid every two years regardless of mileage. I had mine done at 100k, which was probably about two years ago (now at 163k) and will replace it in the spring. I'm also contemplating replacing the oem brake lines with stainless steel, as long as they have to bleed the system.
