I found the brake pads on the Audi to be VERY easy on the front wheels, unless you are trying to remove the caliper. Those bolts can be tough, and you have to remove the calipers to change the brake rotors.

The rear brakes require a caliper compression tool. This tool comes as a kit for like $35, and saves you a LOT of trouble. Believe me, you need this tool, and with it the job is really easy.
