I can not pass emissions because my check engine or mil light wont come on! its a stupid light, how can I fix this? could it really be just a burned out bulb? does it require soldering?

please help.

 

most likely someone removed it. has it ever been on?

If not you problem will be when you get it on it may stay on.

 

Dang it your right, it was removed hanging in the back, and burned out. Wouldnt let me pass emissions because of it, I cleared the codes and ran until I only had one mil not ready (I think it was evap sensor) then ran it through emissions and got her passed no problem. Light will probably come back on tomorrow though.
