Default CLEANING INNER HEADLIGHT

Can't seem to find any info on how to take my headlight apart so as to clean the inside?
Maybe a heat gun and a little coaxing. Anyone ever had one apart?
THANKS BENG

There are kits that I have seen where all they sell are the led rings that go around the lights. I dont know how well they look..but thats an option for the xenon question if they dont make the other kind.

And yes to get it apart just use your heat gun around the light, be careful though as not to get it too hot.

Also...why are you cleaning the inside?

I've heard of other guys putting their headlights in the oven at a pretty low temp. to get the glue to soften up so that you can pull the two peices apart. But I have no idea what temp and how long.

not sure how true but i was told there is a liquid you can pour in your headlight and it would clean and clear up the head light, that is if thats what your trying to do.

I've done several, just be careful what you clean the chrome with it scratches very easy. as a matter of fact the chrome will come off if not careful.
