I have heard its on the different sides of the motor. Can anyone put a pic so i can see what it looks like, or explane how to find it. Im lost.

 

On my S6, it is in the center of the V, at the back of the engine. You can see it when the engine cover is removed I think. I don't have pic, but since you also have the V8, I'd think yours is in the same place. Mine was green.
