Hi All

I am trying to replace the Coolant temp sensor (2002 A6. 3.0 eng). I spent 2 + hours trying to install the retaining clip, I even tried using a smaller 0-ring no good any ideas and/or suggestions,

Thanks. when I removed the defective part I was sure the old o-ring came with it and fell onto the lower eng cowling, I guess that was not the case as there was an old o-ring still in the housing.
