CV Joint replacement
First I wanted to say thanks for all the previous help this site has given me.
Looking to change the CV joints on my A6, how hard is it to replace CV's yourself? I couldn't find anything in DIY but maybe I overlooked it. I'm no mechanic but Iam able to do basic services such as oil change and brake replacement myself, I've never considered doing CV's myself until lately that shops have gotten so expensive.

Audiworld has a good write up of how to do it.
Your gonna need a couple of tools you need to rent, you're gonna need a gear puller or a slide hammer, and pinch pliers to tighten the clamps on the new boot.
