Recently my car has been having a delay on take off. I press the gas all the way down and it takes a couple seconds to take off. It did not do this prior to a few weeks ago. Has anyone had this issue? My car is a 02 A6 quattro 4.2

Does it suddenly jump forward when it catches? Does the engine speed increase as you push down the pedal but your car doesn't move forward?

 

I think I'm having the same problem with my 2000 a6 4.2, I pulled the 0730 code, trans goes into fail safe mode. I'm dropping pan today changing filter and refilling with new fluid just to see if this does anything, if not it's probably going to be a valve body or clutch pack for me.
