My wifes 2000 a6 has locked itself automatically several times while at the gas pump. Is there a way to turn off this funtion with a vag-com, does anywone know what block to look into to stop this from happening again. I am assuming it is in the central locking portion just dont know if there is any one that has had to do this before.Thanks for any help.

 

Maybe you can add a little bit more information on what exactly happens or what your wife does at the pump. For example: does she pull the key out before getting out? does the door show it was opened after opening the door? Does she lock and unlock the car or anything like that?

Try disabling your alarm system with the button on the B pillar.

 

If you have an Avant, check the wires that run to the hatch. Open the hatch and pull the boot back from one end. If you have any cracking insulation that's a good place to start. If all is ok then just put the boot back in place. Should take all of 1 minute.
