Drivers seat ONLY, switches not responding....
hey guys,
I have an 01 A6 4.2 and my drivers side seat went out the other day and it wont move. All the other seats are responding fine, even the back torsion controls are working for the drivers seat. Id hate to have to pay a deductible on the insurance for something as simple as a fuse. Do you guys think it might be this? Also the interior lights dont respond to the switches sometimes, but thats rare. Should I be worried about the alleged "audi/VW electrical bugs"? Thanks for the help guys. Oh and does anyone know which fuse it is for the drivers side seat??

Double check fuse 14, and inspect under the seat. the lumbar supports often rub the wires and short out. follow the wires from the underseat light and unplug it from the harness, they are on the same circuit. if unplugging the light works, you probably have a worn wire causing a short.
Are your windows working fine? they can go wrong due to the same circuit.
