Default elictrical problem

hey i just bought a 2000 a6 quartto 2.8 tip 240,000 today and while i was driving i lost low beams wipers and heater, just from that i would normally say a fuse or something, but I've never owned an audi or any non american cars, i work in an accessory integration shop, and work on cars all day and honestly have no clue where to start, any help or input would be greatly appreciated, i am honestly desperate right now because i just got the car 4 hours from posting this

while running 14ish, my boss has the tool to plug it into the computer and read and clear the codes, and makes things turn on and we did that i wrote down the codes which i forgot at the shop i will post them tomorrow, we wiped the codes and tried to prompt the heater and nothing happened, i can hear the flaps working, and such, but no blower, I'm am used to american cars, and have no clue what is going on here, but i have the inclination that its not the brushes on the motor, because the blower the wipers headlights and turnsignles went out within second of each other i have check all of the cabin fuses and they all have power, weather it be positive or negative, a little back ground info i work for a accessory integration shop and work on cars all day, right now i am installing remote starts all day, so i work under the dash of on average 3 cars a day, and have several rescourse at my disposal i just have no idea on where to start so i appreciate any and all input, if i can't figure it out I'm just gonna sell the car, id rather not, but i will if i can't figure it out i have two back up vehicles, one is running and is actually for sale, but I'm holding off till i figure out whats wrong with this one.

It could be the ignition switch. The symptoms are similar to those in my 1995 S6 when the switch failed.

Find a wiring diagram and see if all the failed systems share a common feed from the ignition switch (as ManyAudi's mentioned), OR check power to the fuses for the failed systems with the key turned on. If not, be sure to check the mega fuses very carefully also. Check power on both sides of the fuses. Sometimes they can be open but LOOK fine.

If I was diagnosing it, the switch would be my first thing to check/test.

On the signals/hazards,,,That is most likely the hazard (4-way) switch. The signal flasher is internal to the hazard switch. Usually the signals will fail but the 4 ways still work.
