Help! New to Audis. How do you change the filter? Do I have to remove the black plasitc intake or will it come off when I remove the metal clips?

 

Remove the clips that hold the top section of the black intake box. The one at the bottom closest to the firewall is a bitch, make a hool with an old wire hanger to put the clip back on after isntall.
I just needed to Pull the side the box up ont he engine side and slide the old filterout, the new on in. You may ahve to move the fuel lines a little out of the way. Replace top in original place and clips back.
