Default Flow master mufflers

Guys has anyone ever heard a flow master on a 3.0 A6?

The guy at the muffler shop said he put a set on a 04 like mine a few weeks back and a set of resonated tips and he seemed to think that it made the A6 sound pretty mean. I didn't know you could just throw a set of flow masters on a Audi? Everyone working there said it made the car sound unlike any other car with that size motor? I'm looking for that VW R32 sound? And most after market exhaust made for the A6 sound ...well weak to say the lest.
Anyone also know if the super trapps will work?

Yes I have, it's not bad but you can find a few sound clips on You Tube. The have a variety of guys with sound clips of different mufflers also. Just search Audi muffler sound or something in that aspect.

Yeah actually i have seen people come in the shop with flowmasters on the 3.0L engine. Its actaully pretty loud compared to other aftermarket exhaust systems, it has a deep tone at low rpm and kind of a high pitched growl around 5k, kinda makes it sound like a 4.3L V6chevy engine if thats what your looking for.
