Dear Fellow Audi Enthusiasts,

I would appreciate some guidance. I purchased a 3 year old Audi A6 (44000 miles) from an Audi Dealer in Carlisle, UK 1 month ago. Th evening I purchased it I noticed a yellow warning light bulb come on the DIS and a message saying left front fog light not working. Audi initially said it is a fused light bulb and to take it into the nearest dealer. The warning light was intermittent for the last few weeks. The car has been taken back to the dealers and corrosion has been noted in the wiring to the left front fog light. The technician at Audi says it is due to a leaking left fog light that was replaced previosuly but clearly the damage from the water to the wiring was not appreciated.

Is this a common problem and is there any further advice you can give me.
