Front rotor replacement

Front rotor replacement
Hi all, I havn't seen any info. detailingwhat's necessary to remove 321mm front rotors. Most posts refer to the AudiWorld Tech Articles that only describe pad replacement. I tried this morning to pull the rotors and didn't because the brake bleeder nut is in-line with the upper caliper fastener. It must be removed to provide access to the caliper fastener. Since I didn't have any brake fluid for this system I had to stop. Has anyone done a rotor replacement, themselves, and encountered this issue? Is the solution to remove the bleeder nut and let the brake caliper/line depressurize before the caliper fastener is removed?
Seems like a poor choice to locate the bleeder nut in-line with the fasterner but perhaps there is a good reason. ANY relevant help would be appreciated.

RE: Front rotor replacement
WHen I did my brakes, the bleeder did not have to be removed to remove the caliper. There are 2 screws under the 2 rubber covers, remove the covers & remove the caliper, or remove the carrier bracket.

2K is right. I have a 2K 2.7 and I did my front and rear brakes, pads and rotors. Take pads out like the pic shows. There are 2 18mm bolts on the back of the calipers. You have to use a little muscle to get them loose. When you do, you can lift the calipers off. Use something to hang the calipers up with. Don't just let them hang by the hoses. Then I took a hammer and tapped the rotors on the side and top until they came loose. Good Luck.
