Default Front torque mount, foam POS, replacing

Has anyone replaced the front foam torque mount on a 3.0 without taking off the front bumper. Saw mine was bad when I did the T-Belt but didn't have one so I just Taped it up and Cabled tied it together and now I have the new one but I was hoping that I could unbolt the mount and slide it out without taking the bumper back off for this thing. Has Anyone been able to slip a new one in?

You mean the engine snub mount? Its far from foam, its super heady rubber. You would have to slide the front end forwards on a 3.0L, but you wouldn't have to disconnect and coolant lines to do it. When you remove the bumper, there is two very long allan bolts that hold the bumper to the crash beam, save these bolts and install one on each side after removing the large green torx bolts holding the lock carrier to the front of the car.
Here is a pic of my old B5 S4 in this position. It only takes about 30 minutes to do.

Ok ok I'll take it back apart but it didn't look anything like rubber when I had it in my hand last week niether does the new one sort of hard foamy polyurethane or something like that. Very light. It would really be nice to have cheese wiz can full of liquid rubber right about now.
