OK I have a 2003 Audi A6 Avant wagon and it has the dynamic headlights, on my dash is the little symbol saying that my dynamic headlight dimmer control is not functioning. As I have read thru the forum here I cannot find anything besides ppl saying to clear it cause there may not even be a problem, I had some body work done recently and I am not sure if they disconnected the headlight or if that would even cause a problem but I guess what I am asking is How would one, such as I clear the light from my dash and see if it comes back on or not? Is that something I would have to take to the dealer to fix? I took it to Auto Zone just now and they ran the OBD2 and it passed all that so I dont think the OBD2 will help me by clearing anything. If anyone can help or knows anything please fill me in. Thanks

 

I doubt the OBD II would help you in this area it sounds like a wiring fault to me like a bad ground
