This hose is all cracked out, looks like I had been repaired before, I opened the hood today and noticed it was like super messed up.

Looks like a vacuum or some kind of emissions line.

I would replace it but doesn't look like a big deal.

I'd hope thats not a fuel line and doubt it is. Maybe PVC equalization tube or something...especially if it connects to a valve cover.

Car run ok?

EDIT...you said HOSE but that looks like electrical? Does it have wires inside the loom?

i didnt say it was electrical and no its not a fuel line I turned on the car and saw faint smoke coming from it, I've actually seen it before but couldn't figure out what it was, I've been driving with it "messed up" for a while now, i guess. Since I didn't just happen today i'm sure.

ok so I found it, its the breather hose. Is this even required? Couldn't I just get a K&N breather and just get rid of the hose?

just replace it with a substitute hose, at least thats what i did. just use your imagination and creativity
