Default MIL light went off

After a few days the light went off. I'm gonna take it to the dealer next time I get a chance to get ECU flashed.
Waiting for my $22 cable to arrive.

Thanks for your help guys!

Write down what temperature it is outside when you start it. I have the same problem, Finally mine is going in tomorrow for the flash. I noticed it only happens when engine temp is below 32C or outside below 75F (over night, I live in FL) and engine has been cold. I think the problem has to do with the way the ECM starts the car when it is a cold start. The vag-com will allow you to watch the misfires as you start it, see the engine temp, watch your IGN and injector timing. Alot of nice info to help see whats going on.

I have read on other posts within this forum that when you replace one coil pack you should replace them all, because most likely if one is bad then pretty soon all of them will go bad. Is your check engine light on again? If so, then I would bet money that it is another coil pack and this time have those a**holes at the stealership replace 1-5 since you already replaced the one on number 6 cylinder.
