I smell BS?
In my time of working for dealerships (including Audi) we have always tried to cover items for a customer under warranty. It doesn't pay quite as well as customer pay but it pays over and over in good will. The problem you run into here is the technition/service writer may have it in their head that this your fault and aren't going to look at any other possibilities. This is where talking to the service manager can help you (see below).
The best thing you can do is be calm and friendly and call another audi dealer and ask for the service manager. Talk to him and explain the situation and ask how he/she would deal with this situation. If you go in with a chip on your shoulder you're not going to get what you want. And really what you want here is information.
To look at this at another perspective would you expect Audi to cover a windsheild that's cracked by a rock? Obviously not, that wouldn't be reasonable. So if a rock truly damaged something on your car Audi isn't to blame. On the other hand, it would seem very strange and unlikely that a rock would be able to get itself in a position to puncture your cooler so maybe it was something else.
I agree with the others you should not just accept it and say "oh well here's my money" push a little harder. Even call the service manager of the current dealership and explain your disappointment with the level of service you're getting and some of the remidies you are thinking about (another dealership, Audi directly, and even ask to speak to the regional Audi rep who can make this call!).
Just more of my ramblings, best of luck!

So I called Audi of America and explain the issues and they said they stand by there techs but they will call the dealer to speak to them and get there word about the problem, well of course it still stands and a DAMN rock or something hit the car. I guess I thought maybe they could help, the dealer says that your insurance can cover this as well, I was like really! so I talk to my insurance company and they said to send the estimate, so it looks like I will get this cover under insurance, I mean i still have to fork out 500 dollars (that is my deductible) so i guess its not that bad and they are letting me keep a A4 2.0T free of charge in till its all fixed, still a little pissed I even have to pay any money, my insurance company said they have never heard of this before so it must be a rare issue, BUT can happen....crazy !!!
If this happened to my car, I would be calling my insurance agent, you might stand a chance for success that way. Your comprehensive coverage might take care of it. Threatening Audi will get you nothing but annoyed. Unless you can prove a material defect with theA/C condenser, no warranty will cover it.
hmm, they lies. I had problem with my tiptronic. They told me, there is some problem with "shifter". I just open that think by my self and relize, that's just magnet missing. I ordered part from europe (cost arround 50$) and installed by 20 minutes. Everything start work great.
AUDI estimated price was 650$. Hmmm

well i wanted to take it to another dealer because of the dealer experiencei got from them but i wanted to see if the service would be good and at least give them a shot because sales and service are two different areas, the guy actually is nice andhas done better job with communication and assurance with us and has made me feel good,(which is good feel to feel with car dealer service) not charging us for the loaner car and says he wants to take care of this for us and do what he can...but the rock story i find hard to believe but i guess there is no way to tell if he is lying or telling the truth. But the claim person we spoke to said he had this happened to his car before to.....
Who will be fixing the body damage the rock caused? There would have to be at least some sort of body damage if a rock was able to hit the condensor. Now that your insurance is covering it, make sure they look for any cracked plastic, scratched paint that the rock caused. I really can't see any way a rock could get in there and not do body damage. Glad to hear it is working out though, things like this just suck.

You know good point! They said it was a small rock or some kind of object did the damage, I mean guess a small rock could get through there but what are the chances, like winning the lottery!
. The dealer I brought it from is doing the repair...i hope to have it tomorrow butthe damn insurance company is taking there sweet *** time which seems to be slowing things up…
