Default I think I already know the answer to this... but...

I need to get new tires for my A6. Right now it has 215/55/16 size tires. Is it fine to put 215/60/16 on? All that is different is the sidewall will be 5mm taller right? Just wanted some reassurance...

You can run those tires as long as all four tires are the same size. If different sizes then you risk axle wrap.

Overall diameter will be .85" larger. Try the handy tire size calculator in the attached link. It will compare the original size with the new tire dimensions and even tell you what the speedometer error will be.

Hmmm so it really will throw my speedo off by 2 mph at 65? Oh well no big deal I guess.
