Hey, I have just joined into this Forum and have a quick question. I have a 2005 A6 4.2 and today the right rear door will not open from the inside, opens fine from outside, I am thinking it's a cable. Anyone with the same issue in the past? I know I can probably find this in the DIY section but time is of essence and I could also use some direction as to how the door panel comes off i.e. any hidden screws I need to know about, all input greatly appreciated.

P.S. or if you could point me to a particular thread covering this .

 

I am guessing that you have the child locks on. The switch is on the drivers door handle near the window switches.

 

OOOPS ! I had no idea that there was even a child lock on the arm rest of the drivers door. Thanks

 

Child locks are independent. Check both sides.
