Interior light question
Then the switch is bad probably, or you have a wiring problem which i doubt. When you pull down the console to replace the switch double check to see if there is any pinched wires in there that could be causing problems, if none are found, replace the switch.
Thank you for prompt answer. Now it seems so logical when you said it. Although it might be wiring too. As I said before it worked shortly two or three times but I never found out what conditions made it to work (and quit again)
I'm guessing I can get a new switch at the stealership right?

I have a interior lighting issue also, except it's with my rear seating ceiling lamp. Just As Stank0 mentioned, the switch is placed in the center position and when the door is open the light some times come on. I address this problem with my local Audi dealer and to my suprise they had no answer. The problem was noted for future reference to being sove at a later date.
Another thing, would any one know where I can find some great looking OME bumpers and skirts to give my 03 A6 2.7T a beefer look. Seem like ever time I look up I see a VW Jetta looking like a JLI with Great ground effects.

Now, when I think about it, I kinda doubt it's the switch. There are 2 ceiling (dome) lights. One in front, one in back. They both work when I turn them ON (each separately) but they don't when they're set to come on when doors are open. There would have to be BOTH of them switches bad which is improbable. (although possible)
