Chipping is the greatest joy. Enjoy the car but check and see what he says there should be more than one file available. Just think there is more power in there if they give you the race gas file. If APR is like GIAC you should be able to run the race gas on east cost pump gas.

Let me know if you really want the 5 chip flash I can ask the local APR guy if there is one for our car

 

I will call APR coporate today to see if there is any harm in trying to do the flash. If they are unsure, I will probably not worry about it. Thanks for the offer though.

 

I spoke with a tech at APR today, and he told me that my ECU will only support one flash due to the tiptronic transmission. He said that if I wanted more than one program for my car, the ECU would have to be replaced instead of just "flashed". Otherwise I will always get CELs. I will call APR again tomorrow.
