Default Just replaced ignition lock cylinder, now had electrical issues

I just replaced a broken ignition lock cylinder on my 2001 A6 2.7t. I replaced all the wires correctly, but when I turned the car on, the Air Bag, ABS, Traction control, and brake light all came on. These were not on when I had the ignition lock failure. Also, the horn does not work and the automatic windows do not move up and down with one click. Any suggestions? I think the computer may need resetting.

If you did not disconnect the battery before replacing the switch that might have caused the problems. Quick fix is to disconnect the battery, negative first then positive. Wait 1 hour. Reconnect, positive first then negative.
