Let's hear about it! How many miles on your A6?
I own a 2002 Audi A6 2.7t with about 154,400 miles.
A story for the ages:
Remember about 3 or so years ago there was a really bad snowstorm in the Northeast? Well Virginia got hit the worst with about 1 to 3 feet snow. My sister owned at the time a Jeep Cherokee 4x4. We were off to sledding and I was following my sister to go sledding. She had stopped to pick up sleds from friends house. When she got back in her Jeep Cherokee she got stuck in the snow! ...........My Audi with the Quattro ripped right through the UNPLOWED roads in that neighborhood!
I had the window down and said to my sister:
GERMAN ENGINEERING!!! (laughing in good fun)
Car is awesome in the snow!

2000 a6 2.7t 6 speed 165000 and going strong. Putting it to the test last car was a2.0 gti 189000 ran strong when I sold it. And before that was a 96 328 BMW 346000 blew the motor cause my son wanted to do a smokey burnout.
At 280,000 miles now
Just installed new NGK Plugs and Wires
I have a 2003 Audi A6 with 197,567 miles on it. It was great until around 125,000 miles. I have replace the timing belt, fuel pump, secondary water pump, both half shafts, and numerous vacuum hoses. I would still buy another one of these cars. My son is getting ready to drive and he will get this car in a few months.
I have a 4.2 SLine - 2007. 260,000 km which is 162,000 miles. Replaced the fuel injectors last year and a blue tooth module. Other than that, I do an oil service every 8,000 km (I drive a lot of highway) and have it maintained by the same mechanic that looks after my Porsche. It helps to have somebody that knows your car I think. Just replaced the windshield, brakes and had the electronic pedal control cleaned and re-installed along with the mass air filter. This is a beautiful car - it drives like new and doesn't have so much as a creak in it. I considered buying a new one - but have decided to just run this one and see how far she can go....
