whats the normal RPM range at idle mine aroud 700 sometimes 750

just stick it to the dealer, they are lazy and you have to be bossy.

I just had the same problem. In my case it was the multi-function switch for the tranny. could be diy... I brought it to dealer. : part=$375 + 2 hours of labor, totalling $650... better than new tranny i guess....
